Course aim

To further develop studio-based knowledge and skills which are framed by research and creative practice whilst acknowledging contemporary demands in the creative industries.

 

Course content

Students will through consultation have provision to continue to develop a topic, or series of topics focussed on individual creative practice and nominated discipline. Develop arrangements involving industry partners which entails negotiated discussion and agreement around the nature and scope of practice, build networking skills, and develop research foci linked to practice, extend and experiment with applied skills in studio practice. Students will select a specialist practitioner as an external mentor and meet with them regularly or as negotiated through the study period.
