To develop studio-based knowledge and skills which are framed by research and creative practice whilst acknowledging contemporary professional industry demands.
Students will develop knowledge and skills in creative studio based problem solving skills, applied studio techniques, independent and collaborative working patterns, professional contemporary models of creative practice and studio methods inclusive of the theory practice nexus. Students will select a specialist practitioner as an external mentor and meet with them regularly or as negotiated through the study period.
