To enrich skills and knowledge framed by professional opportunities through small business management and self employment practices related to the art and design industries.
Students will develop and selectively draw upon their knowledge and skills of business management, business information systems, financial management including taxation, management and governance, strategic planning, intellectual property, copyright, moral rights and trademarks. Incuding knowledge in legal structures of arts organisations, small business, partnerships, insurance, professional indemnity and public liability with contracts, sub-contracting, ethical practice, industry and business support agencies and networks.
