Course aim

This course provides students with theoretical and practical knowledge of strategic analysis and review and its impact on organisational management and leadership, business strategy, and business conduct. To achieve this, students undertake a specific issues-focused project in industry that integrates theory and practice learned in the MBA program, enabling them to make a contribution to ongoing industry and organisation leadership discourse.

Students completing the course develop a body of knowledge that:

  • Contributes to a comprehensive and integrated application of strategic analysis principles to recent developments in the field of senior organisational management and leadership in international business environments.
  • Provides a pathway for further learning.

Course content

Topics covered in this course include:

  • Advanced strategic policy formation & strategic communications.
  • Principles of action based project management.
  • Systemic frameworks for industry analysis, including e-based data collection and analysis tools and techniques.
