Course aim

To build on students' theoretical, innovative and creative audio digital skills. The course will allow students to develop their audio recording and production techniques as well as their understand of the structure and fuction of sound tracks.

Course content

Students will develop knowledge of digital audio recording, editing, mixing and mastering techniques within studio recording environments. They will use digital audio workstation to produce individual and collaborative soundscapes and/or soundtracks. Students will have the opportunity to learn about the structure and function of sound in soundscapes, radio plays, animation and film soundtracks.
