Course aim

To introduce students to audio recording and critical analysis of sound tracks.

Course content

Introduction to digital audio recording, editing, mixing and mastering techniques within studio recording environments and using the digital audio workstation; the function of soundscapes, radio plays, animation and film soundtracks.
