Course aim

To provide students, through an industry-based internship, with advanced job search strategies and further development of specific professional communication, culture, and media industry relevant skills and knowledges.

Course content

Students will put knowledge gained in the Communication Practicum 1 to work by undertaking a substantial self-directed internship placement in a suitable communication industry setting. Their report and oral presentation will be a self-reflexive account of their placement experience and an in-depth critically informed analysis of its professional organisational structure, client relationships, skills development setting and industry positioning.
