The aim of this course is to enable students to develop the knowledge, skills and capacity to analyse and plan a community orientated project in collaboration with an appropriate agency.
Philosophical and theoretical basis for community orientated practice. Processes and strategies relevant to community orientated approaches. Visits and liaison with community based agencies to identify potential projects and liaise with key stakeholders to priorities community needs. Develop a project plan to meet the needs and aims of one community. Acquisition of skills for project planning and development.
