Course aim

To enable students to conduct an investigation into linguistic and cultural aspects of a context relevant to their vocational interests and prepare a report which could inform policy or practice.

Course content

Students will consolidate and apply their advanced level knowledge and skills in investigating diverse perspectives on languages and cultures. Students will investigate the linguistic and cultural aspects of a context relevant to their vocational interests that they have previously drafted as a research proposal in LANG 3016. The students will implement the proposal, ongoing evaluation and refinement of the research design, extension of the literature review, data collection, analysis and development of findings, and preparation of a final report that could inform policy or practice.
