To prepare students to apply their expertise in languages and cultures to an investigation in a particular vocational context.
Students will consolidate their language skills at an advanced level by critically appraising diverse perspectives and research on languages, cultures and intercultural interaction, to apply this knowledge in designing an investigation with a linguistic and cultural focus relevant to their vocational or professional interests, to consider relevant ethical issues in research design, and to plan, evaluate, structure and present a research proposal.
