The aim of this course is to prepare students for clinical placements by developing clinical reasoning skills, group work and communication skills needed for the clinical setting and the ability to use the literature to support evidenced based practice.
Working and communicating within groups. Clinical reasoning: problem definition, clinical problem solving framework, use of evidence and inference. Information literacy for physiotherapy practice. Physiotherapist’s role in clinical problem management. Client-therapist relationships and communication in the clinical setting. Writing for physiotherapy practice.
