Course aim

The aim of this course is to provide opportunities for students to develop advanced knowledge in biopsychosocial and physiotherapy theory as it relates to examination of patients with musculoskeletal disorders and develop advanced skills in physical examination of patients with musculoskeletal disorders.

Course content

Musculoskeletal physiotherapy theory; peripheral and spinal musculoskeletal subjective and physical examination strategies; clinical reasoning theory; integration of clinical reasoning principles into musculoskeletal clinical examination; joint kinematics.
