This course aims to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and experiences to competently deliver a quality immunisation service to the community.
Immunisation: a public health perspective, the immune system and vaccines, myths and realities, primary health care and immunisation, legal and ethical parameters, vaccine safety, vaccines and vaccine schedules, transporting, handling and storing vaccines, vaccination procedures, self assessment of competency.
