To build on students' creative problem solving skills, their knowledge of elements and principles of design applied to packaging design, its function and technical requirements within a professional and industry framework.
Students will develop knowledge of the requirements to design effective packages for a diverse target audience and become familiar with how materials, production techniques, industry regulations and ecological factors influence package design. Students will use creative problem solving and the elements and principles of design to produce specific packaging solutions in relation to consumer and industry needs.
