Course aim

To develop students' practical computer graphics skills within a professional design practice
framework, develop practical skills required to communicate with the commercial print graphics industry and
produce effective print ready publications.

Course content

The students will further develop and apply their knowledge of design and visual communication principles when
designing print publications, and become familiar with construction, pre-press and communication skills required by the print industry to successfully produce professional publications. The students will use industry standard illustration, image editing and page layout software on industry standard hardware.
