To further develop students' skills and knowledge required for higher levels of research-led communication design practice, and to enable students to experience the processes and interactions which will be required for increasingly independent motivation and collaboration across a range of design contexts.
Students will build on their visual literacy skills and design research methods to explore and generate effective propositions to communication design problems. Students will undertake research into typography and further investigate its relationship to all aspects of communication design practice and its visual and functional possibilities related to design in context and industry practice.
