To further develop students’ knowledge and creative design skills for the design of furniture intended for construction and manufacture.
The students will develop knowledge of a range of traditional and contemporary materials and processes and how these are applied in the design of furniture intended for commercial manufacture. The students will use the design skills to produce furniture pieces that demonstrate the integration of materials and processes into design development and implementation.
