To introduce students to key concepts in the field of International Relations and to develop skills of critical analysis in the discipline.
Students will be introduced to the discipline of International Relations and will develop understanding of how key concepts such as state sovereignty, power, anarchy, national interest, security, war, justice, human rights and inequalities impact on political issues like citizenship, the changing character of war, humanitarianism, treatment of refugees, promoting international peace, gender and environmental politics.
