Course aim

To develop understanding of professional journalism practice and responsibility in a range of international contexts

Course content

Global/local identities; impact of new media on media professionals in an international context; ethical considerations in diverse geographic, economic, cultural, social and political contexts; locating journalistic resources in diverse markets; cultural hegemony; indigenous perspectives.
