Course aim

This course aims to provide students with the foundation knowledge to formulate a mathematical mode and use mathematical procedures to find solutions to the model. Students will also learn to validate and refine the model by analysing the results.

Course content

The modelling process, discrete dynamic systems, model validation, analysing and representing data, optimisation models, curve fitting, dimensional analysis, differential equation modelling, UMAP modules
