Course aim

To introduce students to essential numeracy skills and personal financial management skills.

Course content

Numeracy skills, budgeting, simple and compound interest.
Nature and operation of the Australian economy.
Principles and challenges of the free market, competition and resource distribution.
Credit and finance trends.
