The course presents the fundamental principles of mobile communications and their underpinning technologies.

Course content

Fundamentals of mobile cellular networks.
Propagation and channel models in wireless transmission.
Diversity techniques in wireless transmission.
Principles and performance of advanced transmission schemes (spread spectrum, OFDM) and wireless access (CDMA, OFDMA,SC-FDMA).
Principles of multiple antenna technologies.
