Course aim

To develop the students’ knowledge of construction cost studies including building design evaluation and cost modelling.

Course content

Building Morphology and design economics; approximate estimating; elemental analysis; cost planning and control;  the use of cost data and cost indices; engineering services cost planning and control, functional area analysis,computing and building information cost modelling; basics of life cycle costing.
