Course aim

To provide students with opportunities to gain simulated practical experience of the planning policy and development assessment processes.

Course content

Analysing planning policy issues. Development assessment case studies: residential development; retail development; office development; industrial development; land division; strata and community titles. Analysing development applications. Writing development assessment reports. Role of the Environment Resources and Development Court.
