Course aim

To support the student to develop a sound research proposal for an independent honours research project.

Course content

Research principles and methodology including research questions, literature review and critique, sampling procedures and selection, qualitative and quantitative designs, variables, threats to reliability and validity, outcome measures and the role of ethics in research.
