The aim of this course is to effectively use the ICF (International Classification Functioning) framework to underpin knowledge, clinical reasoning in the clinical setting through communication, professional behaviour and self reflection skills.
Experiential application of the ICF framework to identify issues in and to reason through, client presentation, skills in self reflection, professional behaviours such as presentation, informed consent, confidentiality respecting client’s rights, etc, and communication skills including questioning, active listening, identifying client’s values and developing a rapport with patients. Experiential application of selected clinical skills. Roles of the multidisciplinary team.
