To build on students' knowledge of traditional and contemporary constructed textiles, emphasising both research and conceptual development.
Students will further develop techniques that use natural and manufactured fibres to create contemporary textile structures. These techniques will include some of the following; string making, paper making or felt making; twining, plaiting, netting, knitting, crochet and coiling.
