To introduce students to techniques of wheel throwing and coiling as a means to create and explore functional and abstracted vessels in clay.
Students will develop skills in wheel throwing; coiling; and will be introduced to coloured slips and glazes as a means of exploring the potential of the surface. Students will gain knowledge in historical and contemporary ceramic methods.
