School of Art, Architecture and Design
To enable students to continue to develop their original art practice through intense studio work,or through specialist theory study. To provide students with a sound critical base upon which to further develop their individual art practice. To further explore notions of culture and cultural interaction as they impact upon the production of artwork.
Students will further develop an informed and self-critical approach to art making. Projects will reflect current issues in local and international arts practice. Students may also devise in consultation with the individual specialisation lecturers and the Course Coordinator, individual study programs. Although primarily based in one study area, students in AAD Specialisation 4 will have the opportunity to move outside that discipline to fulfil their study aims.
