To introduce a variety of conceptual models and communication skills involved in visual arts practice and to explore the processes of visual language.
Introduction to all visual arts studio specialisations; the utilisation of diverse approaches to problem solving based on the methodologies and conceptual frameworks employed by contemporary visual and applied artists; investigation and critique of contemporary visual artefacts and performances; introduction of relevant health and safety procedures.
