To introduce a variety of conceptual models and communication skills involved in visual arts practice and to explore the processes of visual language.
Students will be introduced to knowledge and skill in all visual arts studio specialisations, the utilisation of diverse approaches to problem solving based on the methodologies and conceptual frameworks employed by contemporary visual and applied artists, investigation and critique of contemporary visual artefacts and performances, introduction of relevant health and safety procedures.
