Course aim

To refine and extend competence in scholarly inquiry, critique and reflection through applying the research process to investigate an area related to marketing.

Course content

This course provides the opportunity to apply theory to actual practice. Students working for a company will be able to focus on a problem facing their company; those who do not have this option will develop a project with the course coordinator.  The course is designed to be taken in conjunction with Minor Thesis B either in the following study period or concurrently. Students will develop and conduct a research project and then complete a report over the duration of the two courses. The report will be expected to follow the format that would be seen in a Master by Research thesis comprising introduction, literature review, method, sample, results, discussion and conclusions.
