Strategy in Project Organisations

Course aim

To expand student understanding of project management concepts by focusing on project management strategy within various project organisations and industry sectors.

Course content

Generic project management review; corporate and project strategies; profiling project strategy, lifecycles and sustainability in major industries; project management maturity models; project management offices; project management competency standards; project management systems; project evaluations and success; assets and facilities management; program and portfolio management; and globalisation issues.

Prerequisite(s)

There are no specific prerequisite courses. However, it is recommended that the Principles of Project Management course be undertaken prior to this course.
