Course aim

To provide students with advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of procurement and contract strategies, methods and management processes throughout the life cycle to achieve project deliverables.

Course content

Students will study a broad set of inter-related theoretical concepts and practical procurement processes across the project lifecycle, including: planning procurements; solicitation methods; procurement and contract strategies; tendering processes; prequalification systems; specifications; evaluation techniques; procurement probity and ethics; application of contract law; contract administration; contract closeout; green procurement; e-procurement; supply chain management; and contract dispute resolution.
