To introduce the student to the conduct of scientific research through participation in a research project to provide education and experience appropriate to employment in research positions or as a basis for further study towards higher research degrees.
Students will receive a program of prescribed reading as well as carrying out supervised research appropriate to the discipline in which they conduct their project.
