To develop students' proficiency in spoken and written Italian at a post-introductory level and extend their intercultural knowledge by examining Italian migration and identity.
Students in this course will interact with vocabulary related to a range of themes and topics at a more developed level and review grammatical concepts and structures with a focus on language in use. Students will explore Italian migration and identity, including representations of Italian culture and community presence in Australia, and reflect on the intercultural aspects integral to the themes and topics covered.
