To expand upon the knowledge acquired in HLTH 2025 Biomechanics of Human Movement and conduct an advanced biomechanical analysis of sporting movements, which will include kinematics and kinetics.
The use of 3D motion analysis when analysing kinematics and synchronous analysis of kinetics (ground reaction forces and electromyography) in typical and pathological sporting movements. Designing a sport specific movement biomechanical analysis including video analysis, noise, sampling, system calibration, models, marker placement, measurement theory, electrode placement and relevant outputs.
