Course aim

To integrate and apply performance making knowledge and skills through the process of making a work for an audience in a professional environment.

Course content

Students apply critical analysis of performance making practices and theories to the body/voice/text synthesis in live performance. The mise-en-scene of a live performance is realised with reference to historical and cultural factors including the influence of media. Students are expected to achieve industry standard practice and work ready skills in staging a live production via rehearsal, performance and reflection.
