Course aim

To develop students’ understanding of processes involved in the construction and interpretation of text, and their skills as readers and writers.

Course content

A creative-critical approach to textual study based on the writing and re-writing of texts; theoretical perspectives on literary study; the interface between language and literary/non-literary texts; interplay between writers, readers and text; dialogic techniques in text production; extensive and intensive reading of a wide range of texts.
