Course aim

To provide students with fundamentals of manufacturing engineering as well as experience of various manufacturing processes.

Course content

Introduction & Materials for Manufacturing; Materials Properties for Manufacturing Processes; Materials Properties for Manufacturing Processes; Metal Casting; Metal Forming; Bulk Forming;  Sheet Metal Work; Theory of Metal Machining; Machine Operations and Machine Tools; Product Design and Abrasive Processes; Fundamentals of Joining Processes; and industrial visit.
