Course aim

To develop the ability of systematic design of machines or systems for service and reliability.

Course content

Reliability based design of machine structural elements under static and dynamic loading; reliability based design of mechanical systems via series and parallel modelling; reliability based design of a mixed engineering system via mixed modelling; dynamic analysis of mechanical systems via bond graph modelling; analysis of physical systems via bond graph modelling.
