Course aim

To develop skills and a working knowledge of issues identification and issues and crisis management, corporate social responsibility, and understand the role of new and traditional media in managing contemporary public relations practice.

Course content

Public relations theory and practice, tactics and strategies essential to sound public relations practice, understanding public opinion and issues management and key campaigns that manage issues, new media management, social media and the place of traditional media in contemporary PR practice, corporate responsibility and the changing of role of community PR.
