The South Australian planning system, the roles of state and local governments in administering the planning system; strategic planning, development plans, development control and the appeals system, Environmental Impact Assessment; the relationship between law and policy; managing the approval process: the customer metaphor, involvement of third parties, the appeal process, accountability, appeals; professional liability.
