Course aim
To extend the students' knowledge of construction and Fire Technology into the areas of heavy construction, engineering and mechanical systems using specialised construction techniques and integrated active and passive fire protection systems.
Course content
Tall buildings, heavy construction and civil engineering and innovative building construction techniques. Risk assessment, cost expectation, repair of fire damaged material, heritage buildings, and behaviour of materials under fire.
