The course Introduction to Planning aims to provide students with a broad overview of the history and purposes of urban and regional planning.
Course content
The history of planning as a profession. Planning as a discipline. Planning and social responsibility. The role of planning in the political process. Purposes of planning. Relations with other professionals. Contemporary planning issues.
