To develop the notion of Wirura Nyinanyi as a holistic notion of environmental, physical, mental and spiritual health; to reinforce old concepts and introduce new concepts relating to the social, economic and political influences and aspects of health and health status in Aboriginal/ Anangu communities, particularly through comparisons of past and present and projections to the future.
Historical examination of traditional life comparative to contemporary life for Anangu people today; the impacts of western culture on Aboriginal people generally; more specific issues of physical, spiritual and environmental well being for Anangu people “then and now”.
