To enable students to develop the knowledge, experience and skills required for the creation of effective multimedia games.
Students will develop their knowledge of the creative process when designing multimedia games and the importance of content acquisition, organisation and developing navigational structures. They will become familiar with instructional design, interactivity, storing data externally and reusability. Students will further develop an understanding of factors that affect multimedia and game production, such as accessibility, authoring issues, game personalisation and platform issues. Students will analyse and evaluate projects involving multimedia and games.
