Course aim

To facilitate student understanding of their own and others’ communication skills, individually and in groups, and in diverse social and cultural contexts.

Course content

Basic terms and concepts for observing and describing human interaction; strategies for effective communication; presentations and public speaking; working collaboratively in groups and teams as well as understanding leadership, managing conflict, impression management and how to be an excellent communicator across a variety of contexts.
