Course Alert: This course is no longer available for enrolment
To further develop students' music performance and production skills, including music conceptualisation and programming. Students will continue to examine critically music performance concepts and processes. They will be introduced to the major trends and genre characteristics of western music from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
Students will further develop their knowledge and skills to apply performance concepts and processes to music production and performance of various genres and styles (pop, rock, jazz, world music, classical, etc.). They will continue to critically examine live and recorded music performance and will study the major trends and genre characteristics of western music from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Students will be singing and/or playing solo and in ensembles, and will devise and execute their own programming concept.
