To promote the development of individual professional approaches to classroom and student behaviour management; introduce and examine critically a range of models of classroom and student behaviour management; and establish relationships between the teaching and learning process, approaches to classroom and student behaviour management, and varying school and societal contexts.
Approaches to managing learning environments which promote conducive learning environments; principles and practices which underpin effective management of learning environment ecologies, key teacher skills for successful management of such complex environments; variety of approaches available to teachers to manage student behaviour in order to enhance the teaching and learning process.
